Segregated Fund iNVESTMENTS
A segregated fund or “seg fund” is similar to a mutual fund but are sold by life insurance companies. Like a mutual fund, a seg fund is a collection of stocks, bonds and other investments that are owned by many investors and managed by a professional investment company on behalf of many investors.
